Attractions

Stratford upon Avon is a lovely town to stroll around with lots of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants to visit in between the main attractions – Shakespeare’s birthplace, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Holy Trinity Church.

You can enjoy watching the boats and swans on the River Avon and children love The Butterfly Farm.
If you’re happy to drive, visit nearby Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, The Cotswold villages or a National Trust property such as Hidcote.

Where to eat

Our current favourite is El Greco on Rother Street - best value lunches and evening meals. Also Sorrento on Ely Street for great Italian food.
The Thai Kingdom is great for authentic Thai cuisine and Vesuvio Caffe for top quality coffee, snacks, Italian lunches and evening meals.
